Karen is an essential member of my team. We've made significant changes in our product line and marketing efforts over the last few years, resulting in products and marketing materials that are applauded by our customers. Karen is up to the challenge of "doing what it takes", and managing change at the same time. She is highly creative, but also sensible. She's a go-to person for usable ideas. Karen is uniquely dependable, trustworthy, and a backbone to the team. I'm thankful to be working with her.

Creative, strategic, innovative and fun to work with! I had the pleasure of working with Karen at Creative Memories, collaborating on many projects, for many years. If you are looking for an employee or consultant with excellent marketing, product development and PR skills, you would be lucky to have Karen on your team.

Strategic, articulate, creative, compassionate, focused - five qualities that make Karen a uniquely qualified leader. As I reflect on almost 10 years working with Karen, what I appreciate most is her ability to motivate and lead under pressure, and to recognize the unique qualities in each of her team members. She made me feel valued and encouraged me both personally and professionally. She’s my mentor, colleague and friend – and anyone would be lucky to have her on their team.

When others say something cannot be done, you can look to Karen to make it happen. She is always up for a challenge and works diligently to explore 'the unthinkable' in order to get extraordinary results. She has a wonderful aesthetic, so creativity is her thing... but she also has a sharp business mind, so you can count on her to think through strategy, finances and timelines. BONUS: her wicked sense of humor livens up the most stressful situations. I would welcome any opportunity to work with Karen.

I enjoyed working with Karen as a fellow manager for two main reasons: Her energy and her logic. We worked together in a creative environment, but she didn't let "pretty ideas" trump "pretty good ideas." I loved watching her lead her team (and copying her great skills); she supported her people but helped show them new perspectives. Her enthusiasm is endless, and she made work -- even under intense deadlines and crushing financial pressure -- fun. Don't look for Karen to do things because that's how you've always done them; look for her to lead others to find fresh approaches to tricky challenges.
- Monica Lee, Writer and Photo Organizer at Clickago Storywerks Karen has the unique combination of being creative while still focusing on profitability and the bottom line. I had the pleasure to work with Karen on some of the largest accounts and programs at the company. Karen and her team always delivered that wow factor. Buyers loved working with Karen and would often contact her for her insight on their categories. She is innovative and has a keen eye for identifying trends. Her ability to handle pressure while still maintaining her sense of humor made working with her fun. Karen takes personal responsibility in her work. She would be an asset to any company.

A seasoned pro at mining customer data and insights and turning them into a workable product strategy, she also has a dead-on eye for trends and design and is able to clearly communicate her aesthetic to development teams. She can be trusted to manage on time and on budget, and has a gift of lightening things up with her terrific sense of humor.
